Part-time/ Internship – Healthcare Investment Banking

We are looking for a highly motivated student with a life science background, preferably with extensive knowledge and interest in biotech and medtech. The student should additionally have some knowledge of financial topics and a strong interest in the stock market. The candidate is offered a unique and fast-paced opportunity to experience how an investment bank functions while contributing to potential and live transactions.

• Mapping the pool of healthcare companies and investors in select geographies
• Preliminary assessments on the validity of science, clinical trial design, competition and market potential
• Sector and industry due diligence
• Producing investor and pitch material
• Ad-hoc tasks to support deal-flow

• Science-based education is required
• Fluency in English is required
• Ability to work under pressure with clear and concise communication skills
• Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to work as part of a highly motivated team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, idea generation, flexibility, and enthusiasm
• Ability to think critically, understand how much “depth” is required on specific topics and distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant
• Prior experience in the Healthcare industry / Investment Banking is an advantage
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
