Pareto Securities’ 2nd Renewable Energy & Clean Tech Conference

One important theme across the presentations is the alignment of interest between established energy companies, capital markets and policy makers working in favour of up-and-coming companies in the Renewable Energy and Cleantech sectors. It is also clear to us that one size will not fit all, but rather many different solutions and technologies will provide important pieces to the large puzzle that is the global energy transition currently taking place.

We also note that three of the presenting companies have important near-term triggers coming up. Minesto is in the final stages of starting its first commercial installation on the Faroe Islands; Cortus Energy is close to delivering 1-week stable production at its Höganäs facility; and Azelio will soon be able to share initial commercial verification results for its long duration energy storage technology. Among the 17 companies presenting, there were six exciting companies which are not yet listed: C-Green, Hexicon, CorPower Ocean, Exeger, Volta Trucks and X Shore.
