Project Manager

We're the largest independent investment bank in the Nordics. As an Investment bank, we produce and consume enormous amounts of information: research, market data, client interactions, deals, and filings. What you can do with that is changing fast. We're not sure exactly what the next few years look like, but we want someone who's excited to find out. 

Pareto's Business Technology team builds our trading platforms, mobile apps, internal tools, and integrations. Increasingly, we're also figuring out how AI fits into all of it. We are now seeking a new colleague to join us in driving key technology and business initiatives across all areas of the Group.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with experienced colleagues across our business. Working in small teams, with ownership and the opportunity to deliver impact. The Business Technology team consists of 11 employees across frontend, backend, mobile design, and project management. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, hardworking, skilled and growing team. • Lead end-to-end project management across diverse teams and geographies 
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and external partners to deliver solutions 
• Foster a positive and productive project environment with a focus on quality and speed 
• Report progress to stakeholders and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle
• Support our growing in-house software team in planning and following up on new product development   
• Manage progress, risks, and cost control to ensure transparent and predictable delivery   
• Work closely with leadership on AI, automation, and how we use data across the firm. You'll have real influence over what we prioritise and how we approach 

You're curious about finance and genuinely interested in how AI changes knowledge work. You've probably already been working with LLMs, automation, or data tooling. Not because someone told you to, but because you wanted to see what's possible. You can manage multiple projects, but you'd rather be building than just tracking. The role requires persistence, ownership, and a proactive mindset. Additionally, you must be able to collaborate effectively with others in team settings and across functions. We value curiosity and initiative. Maybe you've built internal tools or automated workflows. Maybe you're great at getting vendors to deliver. Best case: you've done both and can see where AI fits in.

• 3-5 years in project management, product ownership, or technical roles where you shipped things
• Interest in finance and the financial market 
• Comfortable getting into the details yourself, whether that's pulling data, testing a workflow, or prototyping something quick. 
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related field 
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills 
• High work capacity and ethical standards 
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
